Student section for Biomedical programs (BUS)

Represented in this section you find the bachelor program in biomedicine along with the master programs in toxicology, bioentrepreneurship and biomedicine. Taken together these programs currently employ around 250 students.

The section's main function is to convey the students' opinions to the program committee and thereby act as to guarantee a solid student influence. The reverse is also true; important decisions made in the program committee are passed on from our representatives in the committee to the students. BUS also appoints representatives to a number of committees such as Medicinska Föreningens council, BIONK, SSK, BRO and the Program committee.

To promote exchange with other universities with biomedical programs BUS provides money to sponsor biomedical students who want to participate in Biobollen, which is a very popular annual softball tournament, held at different universities around Sweden.
